Mrs. Tortora: Red Team Language Arts & Red Team Leader

Dear Students & Families,

It is with pleasure that I welcome you to NHMS! Sixth grade is a new beginning for you, and I am excited to share in your journey here. I remember my own transition from the elementary level to middle school and I have to admit, the change was bittersweet. I was excited to gain more freedom and independence, but also worried to take on  all of the new changes.  Are you feeling similar? However, I realize that there is a place for me at NHMS.  It is my quest that you, too, will develop a sense of belonging at NHMS. Through your successes and setbacks, I will be there to guide you every step of the way!

Best Wishes Always,
Mrs. Tortora
