COURSE DESCRIPTION;

I look forward to spending this year with you! I plan on having a lot of fun teaching you

about the Geography of the world. Geography is a very broad subject. When I ask people

what they think Geography is most say it has to do with the physical characteristics of the

earth like mountains, rivers, seas and oceans. Well, it is much more than that. It is the

study of the world’s people, places, and environments. We will be learning about the 5

themes of geography. We will also learn how to read maps and identify major parts of the globe.  We will use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help guide us in our work.  There is so much amazing information that I can’t wait to share with you and look forward to discussing with you. Together we can make this a great year!
