Homework & Grading
Homework:
This year the only science homework will consist of work that your child did not complete in science class that day.
Although there is rarely any formal homework assigned, your child might have homework if...
- A student was absent and needs to complete missed assignments.
- Review is needed for an upcoming test or quiz.
Grading Policy
- Grades are calculated using total points earned on all work completed. This includes homework, classwork, lab work, projects, tests and quizzes. Extra credit is not provided
- Homework = 15%
Classwork = 35%
Tests/Quizzes/Projects = 50%
- If work is missing or incomplete, you will see a “0” in Powerschool. This is a reminder to turn it in!
