Welcome to MIDDLE SCHOOL! I am so excited to share this new adventure

with each of you! I'm sure it comes with emotions ranging from excitement about new friends and more independence, to maybe even a bit of fear of the unknown. Please feel rest assured that I'm here to support you during this transition, every step of the way.

I understand that math can sometimes be intimidating for parents and students alike. My goal for you this year is to foster an understanding and appreciation of (and maybe even a love for) math! I'm looking forward to a successful and fun year together!

About Mrs. Blacker

Spending time with my husband, our two daughters Emma (9) & Allie (7) and our dog Lucy is what I enjoy most! Our favorite activities include: family movie night, trips to the beach and a hike through the woods at our local park.

Here are some additional fun facts:

I've been described as a "foodie". I'm always looking for new restaurants to try and I'd love to hear your suggestions. I particularly love sweets and can honestly say I've never met a cookie I didn't love!
Some may say I am Disney OBSESSED and it's true! I love ALL things Disney, but my favorite rides include Soarin', Flight of Passage, & The Mine Train.

Education
