Brett Joly

I teach 7th and 8th grade French and 8th grade Spanish at NHMS. 

 

 

I have been teaching languages in public schools in the US on and off since 1996. I hold CT Teaching endorsements in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin, and Social Studies and Master's Degrees from the School for International Training (Brattleboro, VT) and the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have lived Spain, Mexico, and Brazil. I have spent several summers in France. I have a French-Canadian last name and ancestry. I am an assistant Indoor Track coach at North Haven High school in the winter and an assistant Outdoor Track coach at Branford High School in the spring. In the summers I serve as a paraprofessional educator with the North Haven Middle School Extended School Year program. I have been teaching at North Haven Middle School since 2018, and I love it!
