Brett Joly

I teach 7th and 8th grade French at NHMS. 

 

 

I have been teaching languages in public schools in the US on and off since 1995. I hold CT Teaching endorsements in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Latin, and Social Studies and Master's Degrees from the School for International Training (Brattleboro, VT) and the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have lived Spain, Mexico, and Brazil. I have spent several summers in France. I have a French-Canadian last name and ancestry. I love chess and I am the advisor to the NHMS Chess Club. I also dabble in coaching Track at other schools. I have been teaching at North Haven Middle School since 2018, and I love it!
