North Haven truly holds a special place in my heart. Since I was five years old I have been involved in the North Haven school system in various capacities, as a student, teacher, and parent. After graduating from North Haven High School I continued my educational path at Southern Connecticut State University. I graduated Southern with my Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Education and Psychology, and my sixth year in Educational Leadership. My teaching career started at Montowese Elementary School. After spending many years at Montowese I made my way to Green Acres both as a classroom teacher and math coach. In 2015 I was selected to be the Elementary Math Coordinator for the district. In the role of Coordinator, I had the opportunity to grow my leadership capacity working alongside teachers and administrators. I was also able to help develop curriculum and instruction to strengthen the success of all students.
In the fall of 2022 I made my way to the Middle School, as the Assistant Principal. It has been both an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Middle School community. I bring my past experiences as an educator and parent to help students develop a love of learning and successful lifelong learners.
