Ricci Gold - School Counselor
Hello!
My name is Miss Gold, and I'm a new school counselor at NHMS! This year, I have all the 8th graders. I'm very excited to be working with you all and ensuring your last year of middle school is great!
A little bit about me - I love spending time with family and friends, reading, performing, and playing with our cat, Luca.
Mid-Year Update!
- So far this year, I've had the pleasure to check in with each 8th grader at least once.
- In December, I went into all the social studies classes to teach a lesson where students wrote letters to future 8th graders. They wrote advice for handling situations, often based on their own experience(s).
- Peabody field trips have started, which have been a lot of fun!
- Students will be starting the course selection process for high school soon!
- In February, I'll be going into the classroom again to teach students about high school options along with the connection between high school and postsecondary plans.
I'm looking forward to the second half of the school year!
