Here are some of the skills, strategies and tools you use in class to help you succeed. Give them a try at home too!

Re-check test answers before handing in work.
Vocabulary flashcards
Repetition of vocabulary
Three column method (World Language Vocab)
Group study
Study guides
Reviewing new material when you get it
Go over older, but recent, material for 5-10 minutes per night
Remain organized so you know where materials to be studied are.
Don't wait until the night before a test to start reviewing to avoid brain overload
Make a list of questions for the teacher as you study/review so you remember to ask the teacher.
Have someone at home quiz you so you can hear it out loud again and again
Pre-read material, vocab, and review questions.
Pace yourself on long-term projects by keeping a big calendar with weekly or daily goals of what you will be finished with
