2D Art

2D Art and Design:

This course explores two-dimensional art processes including drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage.  Students will build upon common vocabulary and foundation skills and refine ideas with student input to personalize projects.

Units include non-objective, abstract, and realistic.

Students completed abstract/formalist collages inspired by Kuna and Haida designs, a non-objective painting featuring paint techniques and focal point placement, and realistic self-portraits.

Currently, we are working on linear perspective drawings.
