To align with school expectations, all cell phones must be silenced and put away during instructional time. I have defined instructional time as the class times as stated in the master school schedule. 

During most classes, I will build in a break into the class where students will be able to check their notifications. Parents, please do not expect an immediate response from your child during class time.

While all this is well and good, I understand that issues arise and there may be times students need access to their phone throughout the class. If this is the case, I have asked students to talk to me before class starts and let me know. Parents, you can also email me if your child needs access to their phone.
