Physical Education

The North Haven Middle School PE Department is made up of Wendy Grove (Health and PE), Brent Heidenis (Health and PE) and Chris Barry (PE). Students will participate in a variety of team and individual sports, fitness, cooperative activities, games, and problem solving activities through the course of the year.

Students are expected to be prepared for outdoor activity as well as indoors.  On cool/cold days students are allowed to wear sweatshirts and sweatpants over their uniforms.  Layering is encouraged so that as the class progresses students can remove their outer layer as they warm up.  The grass is often wet in the morning and students are encouraged to bring extra sneakers and/or a change of socks in case their feet become wet.
