CHAPTER 1 TEST
Your first test of the year will be on Tuesday October 24th or Wednesday, October 25th
For the test, you will need to be able to:
* Write a number as the product of its prime factors. (Draw a factor tree and then write the prime factorization.)
* Find the factors or multiples of a number.
* Find the GCF or LCM of two numbers or three numbers.
* Solve word problems involving GCF and LCM.
* Evaluate squares and cubes.
* Evaluate expressions using order of operations.
You can study for the test by:
1) Completing the "Chapter 1 Test Review" (posted and was handed out in class). (Required)
2) Checking over your answers with the the answer key posted for the "Chapter 1 Test Review" (Required)
3) Reading through the study guide to understand what will be on the test (posted)
4) Trying some of the extra practice problems on the study guide (Don't feel the need to do all of them. This is extra. You do what YOU need to practice most for the test!) [Answer key attached]
5) Reviewing your quizzes, notes, homework and classwork from this section.
6) Asking for help with problems you are struggling with at study hall.
