Dear North Haven Middle School Students and Families:

Welcome to the North Haven Middle School Website. It is our hope that you will utilize this page to stay informed about all of the exciting activities that happen here. The website will be updated throughout the year to reflect the many activities and special events that will be taking place. Our website is one of the many ways we can enhance communication between our school and the North Haven community. We encourage you to stay involved and keep yourself knowledgeable about all that goes on in the middle school. I look forward to any feedback you would be willing to share with us about our website and about our school, and I hope you enjoy learning about the many wonderful things we do at NHMS every day.

The middle school houses approximately 800 students, divided into 9 teams. This structure allows students to build a sense of community and allows staff to focus their attention on the students academic and social emotional success.   We encourage our students to be active in the community, and to support many outside organizations as well as partner with students in other schools.

North Haven Middle school students aspire to our motto, Better Me, Better You, Better Us, by being respectful, responsible, safe and kind. These behavior expectations are applied to all areas of the school community.

We encourage parents to be active partners in our learning community through the PTSA and frequent communication with team teachers. Parent involvement is one of the strengths of North Haven Middle School. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to helping all our students learn and become the very best that they can be. We believe our students will achieve greatness, if we all work together as a team while respecting each other.
